Q + A

How did you two meet?

We met at the library, of course! Where else do enterprising, young lawyers-to-be congregate?

Who's invited to the welcome party on Friday night?

Everyone! Please join us in celebrating on the eve of the ceremony.

What should we wear?

Dress to impress! Our wedding attire is cocktail, and we encourage you to wear something that makes you feel comfortable and fabulous. The attire for the welcome party is smart casual or cocktail.

Is there parking at the welcome party?

Yes, there is complementary valet parking for the welcome party on Friday night at Common House.

What can we expect on the big day?

Get ready for a celebration filled with joy, delicious food, and dancing! The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour and reception. Let's dance the night away!

What about parking at the Hunter Museum for the ceremony and reception?

There is a very small parking lot at the Hunter Museum, but due to the size of the lot we cannot guarantee enough space for all guests. We will arrange for shuttles to transport people from three hotels in the area to the ceremony. We encourage everyone else to use ride share options like Uber and Lyft.

What about the Ironman?

The Ironman race will take place in downtown Chattanooga on Sunday, September 29, the day after the wedding. There will be road closures downtown all weekend in preparation for the event. The race may also affect hotel availability and pricing in the area. Be prepared for crowds, traffic, and tons of excitement!

How do we get to Chattanooga?

Chattanooga has a small, convenient airport with connections to Charlotte, Atlanta, and many other major destinations. There is a direct flight between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Chattanooga. Additionally, the Atlanta airport is only two hours away by car.

Are there any good restaurants in Chattanooga?

For dinner, we recommend Public House (Southern), St. John's (fine dining), Easy Bistro (French inspired), Alleia (Italian), Calliope (Levantine), and Taqueria Jalisco Ania. For casual dining, we recommend Bluegrass Grill (great brunch spot), Aretha Frankenstein's (local haunt for pancakes), Urban Stack (burgers), Taco Mamacita's (Tex Mex), Champy's (fried chicken), Main Street Meats, and Niedlov's.

How can we stay updated on wedding details?
